LASRbrain Brain-Drone Interface Project Completed 310119
As of January 31st, 2019, the LASRbrain brain-drone interface project has been completed and compiled for distribution. The LASRbrain program allows users to fly a drone using only their thoughts and an Emotiv mobile EEG headset. Developed by myself (Ciaran Eli Dorland) using the Java programming language, the program includes a realistic simulator for practice flights (developed using OpenGL and LWJGL) and works with any Emotiv headset. AACC Students wishing to fly a drone with their thoughts for the B2CI brain-drone race on March 2, 2019 can come to CRSC 184 M-F, 900-1700 (9am-5pm) to learn how to use the program and hone their mental flight skills.
P.S. There are a few easter eggs hidden in the simulator!
